Current Regulation	Competition numbers must be removed from the vehicle when driven on the streets. Failure to do so will lead to disciplinary actions.
Proposed Regulation	Competition numbers must be removed from race discipline vehicles when driven on the streets. Failure to do so will lead to disciplinary actions. All other discipline vehicles are encouraged to remove the event numbers as soon as possible between events.
Reason for Rule Change	Most cars participating in Time Attack, lapping & HPDE events use temporary adhesive back numbers. Proper installation requires a clean vehicle so drivers install the numbers prior to arriving at the track. Requiring the numbers to be installed and removed at the track can damage the paint finish and is difficult for those with reusable adhesive numbers.
