Proposed Regulation

“Only electronic or printed waiver forms available from CACC or its insurers are permitted. Signed paper waiver forms collected by the organizer must be kept in safe storage for a period of not less than two (2) years and shall be made available to CACC upon request.”

Reason for Rule Change

CACC has largely moved to online annual waiver signing. However, instances of paper waiver usage still exist and may be used in the future. This wording change allows CACC to continue to allow paper waivers if so chosen, but can also prohibit by making them unavailable. However, if allowed, say for spectator signing at autocross events, CACC still requires that the organizer retain the paper waivers for a two year period.
