Applicable Regulatory Document | General Competition (GCR) |
Type of Rule Change | Modification |
Section to be Added or Changed | GCR 4.4.3 |
Current Regulation | 4.4.3 Canadians must hold a licence issued by CACC or an affiliated ASN territory. Canadians may only hold licenses issued by sporting authorities of other countries after receiving written authorization to do so from CACC. |
Proposed Regulation | 4.4.3 Canadians must hold a licence issued by CACC or an affiliated ASN territory. Canadians who possess licences issued by sporting authorities of other countries and wish to be eligible to participate in CACC events using that licence must have written authorization to do so from CACC. |
Reason for Rule Change | Clarifiying language to make it more specific to the intent of the rule. Any Canadian can hold any licence they want. If they want to use something other than a CACC licence to run a CACC event they need to have written authorization to do so. |
