Current Regulation

3.1.2 To be eligible to compete in a CACC event, a driver must possess a valid:
3.1.2.1 FIA international competition licence, or
3.1.2.2 ASN professional competition licence, or
3.1.2.3 CACC competition licence, or
3.1.2.4 *SCCA competition licence, or
3.1.2.5 *ICSCC International licence.
*These licences apply to non-Canadian residents and the competitors are not eligible for CACC championship series/points.

Proposed Regulation

Change
*These licences apply to non-Canadian drivers who primary residence is not Canada. These competitors are not eligible for CACC championship series/points.

Reason for Rule Change

To align language to allow for a clearer interpretation of the rules. Non-Canadian residents is not clear and there are exception cases. This clarifies visiting non-Canadian drivers may use their licence in Canada.
